Edgar Müller-Ice Age in Ireland
Edgar Müller - a Master of 3d Pavement Art - needed 5 days to the completion of this huge picture. Together with up to five assistant he painted all day long from sun rise to set. The enormous illusion is reached by applying the anamorphic technique to a huge pavement painting. Around 250 square meter large this picture is part of Edgar's newest project. He paints over urban areas to give them a different look and thereby challenge the audience's perception.
In Dun Laoghaire the "Festival of World Culture" took place from 21. to 24. of August 2008. Edgar Müller has followed the invitation and continued his series of large-sized 3D Pavement Art is one of several different designation for the new form of art and also known as 3D - " Street Painting", "Street Art", "Chalk Art" or "Sidewalk Art". He turned a part of the eastern Pier into the Ice Age. This project was supported by the Goethe Institution Germany as the german contribution for the Art.
Rain is coming
After the rain
A huge hair dryer might helps
Do not care the weather
Hundreds of meters of tape
Cross fingers
So quiet in the morning
Early morning work
Looking for the sun
Finishing touch
This is not real
Lets jump mom
Walking on air
Follow me
Posing
Not scared
